The Commercial Vehicle Show at the NEC in Birmingham is the largest automotive show in the UK and in 2018 visitor numbers exceeded 20,000 once again.
Newspress Creative provided a weekly bulletin in the preceding months, with on-site news coverage from each day of the show and a bespoke photographic gallery of the key highlights, a few of which are covered below.
Making their global debuts at the show were the new Ford Fiesta Van, The Mitsubishi Shogun Sport Van, the Mitsubishi L200 SVP II and the Isuzu D-MAX Stealth by Arctic Trucks.
In addition, making their UK debuts were the new Toyota Hilux, Citroen Dispatch, Peugeot Expert, Renault Trafic Formula Edition, Volkswagen e-Crafter, Ssangyong Musso and LDV V80 Electric.
There are also new ranges of ready-to-run conversions courtesy of Fiat Professional, Renault PRO+, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Citroen and Peugeot.
A surprise debutant at the show was the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter, on display on the Paneltex stand. The Hull-based converter used the all-new model to show off its first-ever refrigerated body, with the van wearing a camouflage wrap ahead of its official debut later this year.
