With a masterplan to create of the UK’s first automotive resort, Bicester Motion is set to become one of the country’s top 20 tourist and leisure destinations.
Launched across 444 acres, the new resort hopes to offer leisure, culture and tourism experiences within one outstanding destination. Consisting of multiple zones, the Bicester Motion concept comprises of a 344-room hotel and conference development, and an additional 770,000 feet of operational business and leisure accommodation across the site.
Having successfully developed Bicester Heritage, a centre for excellence, experience and community for the historic automotive sector, the buildings of the former WW2 RAF Bomber Station (which occupy just 5% of the site) are part of the larger Bicester Motion development. This expansion will ensure that the historic airfield location will fulfil its original purpose as a focal point for emerging technology.
Offering new amenities and experiences, the development will ensure close links to Bicester town centre, Bicester Village and wider the Ox-Cam ‘technology corridor’. Partnering with blue-chip and cutting-edge businesses, the site will generate new skilled jobs and make a substantial contribution to the local and wider economy.
The Bicester Motion vision includes a brand experience centre, offering driver experiences on both road and off-road courses, restaurants and cafés. In addition, the transformation of the dilapidated quarry and former industrial areas into the Bicester Reserve will form an ecology-led new country park complete with footpaths, cycle paths and lakeside lodges ideal for family breaks.
Based on the Bicester Heritage campus, Newspress Creative is at the heart of Bicester Motion. For media enquires please contact email@example.com.
